Before you Decide to
Stop Smoking
Consider this:
When you stop smoking, think about the industry you will no longer support and the people whose livelihoods depend on your purchase of their cigarettes.
Think about the tax revenue that will be lost. The money will have to come from somewhere else. If not from you, then I will have to pay some of it.
Also think about what you are doing to pensioners. If you are not smoking, then you are going to live longer and therefore cost more money in pensions. That means there will be less to go round for me and your and my children will have to pay more taxes.
So, before you decide to quit smoking, consider the wider effects on society and how much good you are doing now;
The jobs you support;
The taxes you pay;
The years of retitement you will not have.
